FOOTBALL ANYONE?

I have to say it was one of those days when I felt uninspired... Until I came across a high school football team having the time of their life in the mud!!! It was an incredible site. I had time to take one shot, well lets just say I took one shot, and although you can't see anything, use your imagination. Boys will be boys, they love the dirt, and the dirt loves them. Next time I hope to get a close up!
Until then, which detergent works on mud?

Ah, the plight of the Holga!
It is apparent that these cameras were not for the purpose of taking many long shots espescially when the light is down.
Still you continue to impress me with your images even though you probably were dragging your ass around by the time you had the chance to shoot anything for yourself.
I can see the picture perfectly in my mind. It's a wonderful reminder of the weekend Alex and the two boys filled our dirt back yard with water and did exactly what you photographed, got down and dirty and had such a great time.
Thanks for the memory!
love ya

Photojournalism is my passion, it's an amazing way to see and experience the world. I don't know if what I do will ever have a greater meaning then to fill the pages of daily newspapers. I've seen and felt first hand how important it is to approach the subject of my lense with kindness, respect and honesty. My background is in art and music. If I could express my feelings about life it would be embodied in the song made famous by Louis Armstrong, written by George Weiss and Thiele, "What A Wonderful World."
